NB Swimwear Origins
OUR STORY
NBSWIMWEAR was founded in Florida by Nikolina & Branka. It had all started when the two decided to take a big leap and pursue their dreams. They wanted to embrace their story, their love for travel, and fashion. As mother and daughter they saw potential in creating something beautiful. The two decided to move across the U.S to Florida summer of 2021 and had fallen in love with swimsuits and the ocean. And as time went on people loved watching them embrace they’re bond on social media. After a while they decided to make they’re dreams come true and create something that all women would love just as much as they did. They shared a passion for swimsuits and they just knew they would be able to give girls exactly what they were looking for. They wanted high quality, sustainability, and something everyone could feel and look confident in. Ideas, designs, and colors naturally came to them and that was where collections were born . Not long after they made the decision to travel across the world to meet their manufacturers in Bali to get hands-on with designing and make sure that every girl gets the perfect suit.
The bond that they share as mother and daughter could not be stronger, Nikolina is now a 16 year old. She grew up with just her mom by her side and learned so many valuable things. The bond she shares with her mom encouraged her to take a leap of faith and create something together. She herself had suffered an injury that changed her life and the way she looked at her body in a bikini, but it didn’t stop her. With her mom by her side they were able to make this happen, she was able to design pieces that she could finally feel confident in. And hopefully do the same for many other girls out there.
What Makes Us Different?
The two know the importance of helping the planet and our oceans, they made sure that each fabric is recycled and sustainable as well as the bags and accessories. But not only that they know the importance of buying a bikini that is worth every dollar, a swimsuit that is not just a swimsuit but a lifestyle. They are here to design swimsuits for all fashion tastes, not just one. They want to engage with girls all around the world and make sure to communicate with them to create pieces everyone loves. Their goal is to put they’re hearts into making these bikinis and make it a smooth experience for everyone. The two had even said “Building a community is the most important part in this entire process. We want this to be a place for all girls to contribute and feel a part of this journey!”
NBSWIMWEAR makes sure that all bikinis are designed to flatter every skin tone, embrace every curve, and shape each body. Girls are able to mix and match each collection to their fitting to make sure they get the most out of their order meaning no uncomfortable experiences, no digging or cutting in. NBSWIMWEAR is designed to be worn everywhere and anywhere whether it's at the beach, by the poolside,enjoying the ocean water, heading to a resort or even adding a coverup for dinner.
